Production Features

Laminate is a unique special technology for covering door panels, which was developed by our european partners

An important advantage

The new technology that uses special materials allows the use of door panels on the street (subject to the service instructions are ensured)

Reliable protection against damages

The basis of the SteelTex technology is a three-stage method of vacuum pressing. With particular temperature condition and high pressure, the special coating takes the form of a milling pattern, forming a single structure with a MDF panel that is resistant to shock loads and abrasion.

A unique coating uses components that combine increased strength and elasticity.

Door panels that use SteelTex:

Are protected against mechanical damage
are resistant to temperature changes and humidity
Feature antistatic effect
have increased resistance to UV rays and infrared rays

SEVEN LAYER CONSTRUCTION

The new technology that uses special materials allows the use of door panels on the street
(subject to the service instructions are ensured)

Special layer

Protects the panel from mechanical damage, temperature drop and UV exposure. The coating retains its original appearance for the entire service life and does not fade with time.

Pigmented layer

simulates the texture and color of finewood. It provides protection against infrared radiation, not allowing the coating to deform and get hot excessively in the sun.

Multicomponent layer

Akrilat provides strength and elasticity;
PVC provides damage and moisture protection;
Fire retardants are substances that prevent combustion.

Two-component adhesive

Full crystallization of polyurethane adhesive occurs after 7 days, allowing the coating to form a single structure with MDF.

MDF panel

Special MDF panels are resistant to shock loads, temperature changes and high humidity. The material has an increased density, which makes it possible to create highly artistic milling with small details.

DOOR PANELS MANUFACTURE

Panel cutout

The correct cutting of the MDF board is the beginning of the work with the door panel. If the front door lets moisture and air pass, it indicates a sealing failure of the construction. Special-purpose machinery allows the future door panel to be cut from MDF to within a millimeter.

Milling

The MDF quality affects the quality of the milling. The use of German moisture-proof MDF of increased strength and Italian equipment makes it possible to produce simple patterns and highly artistic milling with small details.

Grinding

The door panel is specially prepared before using the vacuum pressing method. Grinding of the door panel allows creating a smooth surface. Then each element of milling is brought to perfection manually by the woodworking masters.

Glueing

The coating specially developed for the "Steel Line" uses a two-component polyurethane adhesive. The process of applying the adhesive consists of two stages: - application of the first layer, preliminary drying; - application of the second layer, drying with a certain temperature regime. As a result, a thin layer of polyurethane film is formed on the MDF surface.

Vacuum pressing

The vacuum pressing method with a certain temperature regime and exposure time is divided into 3 stages, creating a single structure of MDF, glue and special coating resistant to abrasion and impact.

Drying

At the final stage, the door panel is evenly cooled.

Lamination Plus

Lamination is a unique patination technology that emphasizes the beauty and texture of the pattern. It gives the doors a noble and refined look.

Door

Unique panels

On each door panel patina is applied manually by the specialists of our partners. It allows emphasizing the texture and beauty of milling.

Additional protection

A two-component lacquer protective layer is used to fix the patina. It additionally protects panels from mechanical and atmospheric influences.

Developed by "Steel Line" company, SteelLak is a new technology for painting door panels.

1

This technology creates a door with inner and outer panels of different colors. The utilization of modern equipment opens the possibility of painting the door in two different colors.

DEEP LEVEL OF TREATMENT

Door panels created using Paint technology are not just painted MDF panels; they works as a single structure that is resistant to load impacts and abrasion, infrared and UV rays.

Two-component lacquer

is moisture proof, resistant to shock loads and abrasion. The lacquer retains its shine and color even under the UV rays influence, and also increases the polyurethane enamel's life time by three times.

Polyurethane enamel

is resistant to UV rays and temperature changes, and is moisture-proof. Italian enamel serves as a shell to protect MDF panels with milling.

Primer layer

smoothes the surface and ameliorates the adhesion of the enamel to the MDF panel. The several layers of primer application create a flat door panel surface.

Thermal and moisture-resistant MDF

Only moisture-resistant MDF is used in door panels that are created using SteelLak technology with high humidity and temperature changes resistance.

Color solutions:

Due to the special SteelLak technology and high-quality European materials used, a door of any color from the RAL palette can be created.

PAINTED PANELS PRODUCTION

Panel cutout

All stages of the SteelLak technology take up to 5 working days. Four experts work on the full cycle of manufacture. In the first stage, a blank is made from moisture-resistant MDF boards. Panel cutout is automated.

Pattern embossing

The structure of MDF allows applying both simple and highly artistic milling. The Italian equipment utilization guarantees the milling application accurately to within a millimeter.

Grinding

Grinding of the door panel allows creating a smooth surface. Then each element of milling is brought to perfection manually by the woodworking masters.

Surface priming

The primer layer provides better adhesion of the surface with the enamel and improves the weather resistance of the panel. The specialist places the door panel into a special chamber to evenly apply a primer over the entire MDF surface.

Pre-drying

The first stage of door panel drying allows the primer to dry evenly. For this, the door panel is placed in a room with a certain temperature regime.

Panel polishing

After the pre-drying phase, the MDF surface is polished. It is essential part of the manufacture, as a smooth and absolutely clean door panel surface provides a better adhesion to enamel.

Gradual coloring

Then the door panel is painted with polyurethane enamel step-by-step in several layers. This allows achieving a smooth surface and getting an even color on the perimeter of the future door.

Drying

The next stage of drying takes place in a sterile room, where access is denied. A certain temperature regime of this sterile box ensures even paint drying.

Fixation with lacquer

Two-component lacquer increases the durability of polyurethane enamel of Italian production by three times. The coating with moisture-resistant lacquer protects the door panels from abrasion and shock loads.

The final stage

At the end, the door panel is placed into a special room to the completion of the drying. It is stored there prior to installation on the entrance door.

Paint PLUS

Paint Plus is a unique patination technology that emphasizes the beauty and texture of the pattern. It gives the door a noble and refined look.
